WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR TIER-2 WHEN YOU LEAVE GES?

Question: Should I leave GES, what happens to my Tier-2 contributions?

GESOPS Answer:
When members get a new employer and hence leave the GES, their Tier - 2 contributions can be handled in two ways:
Members can port funds out of GESOPS, to the Tier-2 scheme of their new employer
Members can leave funds in the GESOPS account for it to mature and then make a claim during retirement.
In the coming days, we will take you through the process of how to port out of GESOPS, should you leave the GES.
